Tamara Johnston McMahon


Tamara Johnston McMahon has been a producing partner with Burning Heart Productions since its inception, working on Laundry and Tosca, The Fair Trade, Not That Funny and currently on Praying the Hours, Regarding the Holidays, The Statesman, and My Army. McMahon was previously employed at ImageMovers assisting Producing Partner Steve Starkey on films such as The Polar Express, Monster House, and Beowulf. McMahon collaborates with husband, Jordan, on promotional videos for various charitable organizations and is also a spokesperson for fair trading practices, social sustainability, and anti-human trafficking.

In 2005 she co-founded the fair trade skincare company, Anti-Body, LLC (’05-’11), which supported cooperatives across Africa, Israel, and Palestine by sourcing the highest percentages of fairly traded ingredients. McMahon co-founded grassroots awareness organizations such as Buy Local Pasadena, Fair Trade Pasadena, and Fair Trade the White House and currently serves on the board of Ten Thousand Villages in Pasadena. Tamara is the producer in charge of creative development on the Praying the Hours project. She works at Fuller Seminary as the Managing Editor of the award-winning FULLER magazine. A prestigious graduate institution at nearly 70 years old, Fuller has over 4,000 students from 90 countries and 41,000 alumni around the world.
